Crowe Horwath 2017 CSR programme in support of local resource centre St. Andrews.
Over the summer months our staff launched a firm-wide charity initiative to support the wonderful local community resource centre St. Andrews on Pearse Street, Dublin 2.
They organised a programme of activities to help fund raise for this vital community resource, including:
- Tag rugby match between staff and alumni
- A ‘Big Bake Sale’ in Trinity College Dublin
- A Crowe Horwath team participating in the Great Dublin Bike Ride
- Painting a community mural at St. Andrews
The staff raised over eight thousand euro to help the centre continue its vital work supporting the communities of Westland Row and City Quay.
Evelyn Heron, a member of our CSR committtee, said that the staff chose St. Andrews for this year’s initiative because of the invaluable support they provide the local community, “St. Andrews is passionate about local community development. They offer support and development opportunities to people from all stages of the life cycle – from childcare to youth programmes, right through to a range of elderly support. We could not have chosen a better group to support.”
If you would like to help support the work carried out by St. Andrews, you can find details on their website.
