Our international research team have produced a report which identifies 10 global trends which will influence tourism in the future (pdf). These trends will have a major effect on demand within the tourism sector and impact changing supply. These include; silver hair tourists, Millennials or Generation Y, the growing middle class, new emerging destinations, technological evolutions, loyalty programmes, health and lifestyle, and sustainability. The report highlights how, together, these trends will play a role in shaping the future of tourism.
